Kaskey Studios - APEX Piping Systems - Laran Bronze

Test Fit at Laran

All of these photos were taken at Laran Bronze in July 2003.

The photos show the assembled Columns, Eagles and Wreath.

Some of theses photos are blurry but we wanted to show them all.

You will notice in some of these pictures some of the Eagles appear to be a bluish green color.

The bluish green color is the finished appearance of the statue.

APEX hopes to erect the statues early this fall in Washington D.C.

Photos 1-6. The ceiling has been removed in order for the statue to fit inside the building.

Photos 7-9. show a Eagle with black intermediate finish (not yet complete).

Photo 11. The bronze Ribbon and S/S internal ribbon are clearly seen here.

Photos 12-26. Lifting the Wreath and Ribbons up to the Eagles.

Photo 27. The artist Ray Kaskey (brown shirt), and his team.

Photos 28 - 30. Pat Oakes of APEX and Larry Welker of Laran stand in front of the Statue. Photo 30 gives a good indication of scale.

Photo 31 - 32. Aaron of Kaskey Studios takes a look from the bottom up.
